Core features & control

Your plan as Kanban-style cards

Every task is a card with a status — Not Yet, In Progress, Testing, Done — that changes with a click. The tree view mirrors your plan's structure, and the footer shows how much is finished.

One control tower for all your Claude Code sessions

See every Claude Code session on your machine at once, and the card each one is working on. Start a plan with Start in Claude Code or follow sessions that open your imported file; opt in, and cards move to In Progress and Testing on their own — Done is always yours. Claude Code only, runs locally, no API key.

References and prompts in one place

Pin files and URLs to the cards they belong to as clips on the canvas. Keep the prompts that work as prompt notes and drop them onto any card.

Plan in, cards out

Import a Markdown plan and the parser turns it into cards — five reading modes, and the Parsed as badge re-reads it another way right after import. Drag selected cards into Claude Code or any app with the export handle; with Preserve source document on (off by default), a full export of an imported plan keeps your original formatting.

Questions developers actually ask

Do I need an API key or a Claude subscription for the AI features?

You need Claude Code itself (2.1.269 or later), billed exactly as today. TaskHolder adds no API key, no cloud service and no extra cost — the Control Tower reads what Claude Code already reports on your machine.

Does it work with my AI tool's output?

Yes, if it's Markdown. Phase/Task/Subtask, numbered sections, requirement IDs, checklists, Korean numbering, even video scenes and blog series become one card tree. If a file reads the wrong way, switch the reading mode in the footer. Export mode drags cards into any tool as Markdown; live tracking is Claude Code only.

Is this a subscription?

No — one purchase, no subscription. It follows your account: reinstall or move to a new computer, sign in, and you're licensed. And if a trial ends, you can still export your work.
